I was wondering if there was a limit or best practice to the number of conditions a view should have. I can't find any documentation or posts asking this. Thank you!

No known limit - but functionally, problems will likely ensue the higher the number of conditions gets. Performance degradation may start occurring with around 150 view conditions.
