Creating new views / Making changes to existing views

In either of these scenarios:

1. Creating new views

2. Adding new columns to views

When I click save, there will always be a Could not save "<view name>" view message that appears.

I'm not sure, but it's possible that you have too many view forms - try to remove unnecessary views and create a new one. Could help.  Visible only 10 forms in the Views for agents and 10 your internal forms (available only for you).

@Qing En Low It's possible that you're on a legacy Zendesk plan that does not include the ability to create custom views (i.e. the Zendesk Essential plan). 

If you're on a legacy plan, this help article might be helpful for you.

Hi @Danila Slezko, thank you for answering my queries! I currently only have 6 views, which are all the defaults.

I am suspecting it might be due to the plan I'm on, which doesn't grant my account enough privileges for the mentioned scenarios (since I am getting a 403 status code).

Nonetheless, appreciate your help, cheers and have a great week ahead!

Hi @Chandra Robrock, after checking out my current plan, my support product is indeed under the essential plan, which is one of the legacies as mentioned in the link you sent.

Understanding that my current essential plan is one of the legacies,

  1. will this plan be eventually phased out, and hence having my existing account terminated unless an upgrade to the next plan is done; OR
  2. will I still be able to use the product under the essential plan, but just miss out on some of the features?

Hi @Qing En Low - In my personal experience using Zendesk, they have continued to support any legacy plans that I have been on. 

That being said, since I don't work for Zendesk, I'd recommend reaching out to Zendesk's Support team or your account rep for a more concrete answer. :)
