Adding New Conditions to Views

Hello,

We are trying to set up a view with the condition "Association Name", which is one of the fields in our tickets. However, we are finding that this is not an option. Is there a way to add this field to the list of conditions we can set? Thank you!

Hi Avoniea,

Are you using the Text field type for your Association Name? If so, you're right that it won't be available as an option when creating the conditions for Views.

Have you looked into using Organizations for this? If you're not already using them, Organizations could be very help – they're a great way to keep related customers together, and you'll be able to use them in Views, other business rules, and reporting: About organizations and groups

If organizations don't work for you (for example, if you're already using them for a different purpose), then I wonder if a dropdown field with a list of the Associations could work instead? That would also be usable in Views, business rules, and reporting. There's more information about drop down fields here: About custom field types

Either choice could also potentially save your agents from having to type in the Association name for every ticket.
