Updating screenshots in Zendesk

How are you all keeping your Help Center screenshots updated?

I have worked with learning solutions in the past and they typically have a central library where you can add/update images/videos to reuse across courses, but I don't think Zendesk has anything like that at the moment for the Help Center. I have a highly manual process for this at the moment where I go into each Help Center article and update each screenshot. I am wondering what you all do and if there is a better way?

I also learnt about KB Automate App, but it seems to be no longer active, this would have been a nice alternative.

It may be a limit of your plan.

You can use the image gallery and content blocks to re-use text and images.in many articles. But it is an Enterprise feature.

We are planning to introduce the image gallery (which is already available in content blocks) to all our plans later this quarter. Hopefully, that will help solve your problem.

Hey Paula — the Image Gallery that Graeme and Katarzyna mentioned is clearly the foundational setup to build on.

And as you noted, KB Automate (even though it's no longer active) would’ve been a solid companion. That said, you might want to check out LaunchBrightly — it automates screenshots and can sync them directly with your articles via Zendesk.

Anyway, mostly dropping this here for posterity. 🙂
