I am not coding savvy at all. need help adjusting I assume the category_page.hbs so that when you click on a category it only shows the sections, not the articles as well which makes it look like a total mess. I just want sections and then when somebody clicks the section then it goes to that page and lists all articles in it. If anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it, supposed to go live very soon!

There's one thing you can try. You can Remove the article loop code from category.hbs file and keep only section loop. This might resolve your issue.
