Create a public form without opening up Zendesk to everyone

We have Zendesk locked down so that all users have to log in to create tickets. However, we have a unique use case where we want to embed a specific form in a specific place that would allow anyone to submit a ticket without logging in. Is there a way to have just one form that works like this while the rest of ZD is locked down?

Hi Joe,

You can create a custom contact form to embed in your page with the use of Ticketing API. You can follow the steps and details in the documentation Building a custom ticket form with the Ticketing API.

Thanks @ronie - The article states that "Anonymous requests are enabled for the account" though which is the problem I am trying to get around. If I do that then doesn't this enable anyone to submit a ticket using any form, without logging in?

Hi Joe,

You can try using the Contact Form in the Web Widget Classic as discussed in the article Does Zendesk offer an embeddable contact form?. You can select what will be enabled in the Web Widget Classic, like Chat, Talk or in this case the Contact Form.
