After talking about the printing on side Conversation for a few years since 2020, does Zendesk finally has this printing function to offer? I found the the Print Ticket History App at the market place but it sucks! Search any ticket will always fail. Any clue to share?

We are heavy users of the Side Conversation feature but the inability to print is causing compliance issues within our company. Also, if a client wants to see the entire conversation, we are only able to provide this information if the conversation is in the main ticket. Screen printing is not practical and nor professional.

is there a way to pull them from the side conversations end point? I've pulled the data before and there so much info - it would be helpful if there was a snippet that included only essential info. 

 

for us, essential relates to the email messages - their authors, the content of the messages, and when they were sent. making some is also semi important, but we use them to document approvals.

Another upvote on being able to print Side Conversations - in our case, we just need to print to a PDF. This is a compliance issue that we are experiencing and the workarounds are not sufficient (print screen, etc) as it does not keep in line with professionalism

Adding to this thread, this is something that was an original requirement during implementation and continues to be a pain point in our process. 

Has there been any progress towards this feature?

Is there an update on this? Seems like people have been asking for it for almost 3 years now!
We also need the ability to print a side conversation separately from the ticket and having the option to include it or not when printing the ticket would also be great. Printing to a printer or PDF.

It's incredible that is not possible to print side conversation from a software like Zendesk that cost so much.

I think that this feature can balance our company idea to remain in zendesk or leave that.

I'm adding what I had posted on another topic which was closed:

We have an audit requirement to print PDFs of some conversations especially with out partners.

Because we cannot print a Side Conv email, our only choice is to +add ticket to create a separate ticket, but then we lose the benefit of connecting this conversation with the parent ticket.

While we could use problem / incident (or an add-on app) to connect them, we just want to use side conversations - it's simple.  However, the lack of printing is an obstacle.

Hey all. We have a beta feature to try out for printing individual side conversations.

IMPORTANT: This requires that you're using side conversation in the Context Panel within Agent Workspace at this time.

This is an absolute must—at the very least, to be compliant with local personal data regulations, how can you provide this data to someone who is asking for it?

Our business has the need to print Side Conversations to a PDF for audit purposes, and I credit my colleague, Darshan, for this clever browser workaround:

•Highlight the content of side conversation email

•Right click on selected content and click print

•Select printer as PDF

•Click Print and save as PDF file.

Now that the side conversation has been moved to the context panel we still dont see an option to print them to PDF. Please provide some solution.
