Cannot adjust/delete a custom status

I just created a custom status and it seems that I cannot move the custom ticket status to be assigned to another status category. When I created the custom ticket status I accidentally assigned it to the wrong status category but when going to edit, I cannot not reassign it. I also tried to delete it but looks like I can only deactivate and does not provide a delete option after deactivation. Once deactivated, I could not recreate the status with the same name and assign it to another status category. So without the delete option I've lost the ability to use the custom ticket status name.

Hello Noelle,

The ability to delete custom statuses will be available at GA closer to the end of September. Right now, the workaround I can suggest is to update the status label before deactivating the statute with a namespace such as inactive_resolved. This way you can reuse the actual label "Resolved" for a new status in another category.
