When you click the "T" to open the text formatting box, it appears on top of the text you are editing. This is super annoying, so I always keep it hidden unless I need it. This adds lots of extra clicks whenever I need to format something.
My question is, is there a reason (besides "aesthetics") that this:
Can't look more like this:
If this were the case, I could just leave the text formatting box open all the time and save myself a lot of seemingly inconsequential but disproportionally inconvenient clicks.
