My team is looking into implementing federated search across our sites. One of the interested teams indicated that they can move forward with their subdomain so now I need to send the crawler tag over to them so that they can embed it in the <head> section. The process is straightforward and all teams understand their roles.
However, I don't have the sitemap URL, and will need to get that in order to save the crawler. Although I am able to get that information, if I don't have it at the time of initial configuration, that means I can't send the tag along to the site owner while I go to the other team that owns the actual domain to get the sitemap URL.
For the time-being I've added a placeholder URL, but it would be helpful to have a draft functionality so that I could return to edit the sitemap in the crawler config.
