Hello everyone!

 

I'd like to know if it would be possible to send bulk messages on Whatsapp via Zendesk?

 

Actually, I'm not really sure if we can make outbound contacts via Whatsapp using Zendesk?

 

Can you please advise? thanks!

To answer your inquiries:
 
  • I'm afraid that Zendesk does not natively support bulk WhatsApp messaging or broadcasting campaigns.
  • You can do outbound messaging but only individual or limited one-to-one messages complying with WhatsApp policies.
    • WhatsApp’s Business API requires that outbound messages (notifications, proactive messages) follow strict template message rules approved by WhatsApp.
    • Zendesk allows you to send proactive messages to customers who have opted in, but it’s typically one-on-one, not bulk sending to a large list.
    • Bulk messaging is generally managed by specialized WhatsApp Business Solution Providers with dedicated tools for campaigns, not standard Zendesk channels.
  • For bulk campaigns, use a dedicated WhatsApp Business provider or marketing platform integrated with WhatsApp.
