Is there a reason that Zendesk opted for integration with partners instead of an in app NPS?

It seems odd that a platform designed for cs/cx doesn't offer this tool and that your users have to go to another platform to complete this task - which I would view as a basic feature for a cs/cx platform

I know NPS is an essential feature however Zendesk is building the world’s best conversational platform. This change will allow us to focus on developing new functionality that reaches more people and provides you and your customers with an overall better Zendesk experience.
