Reporting on how many unique tickets were on-hold during a specific time period

We are looking to report on how many unique tickets were set to On-Hold status during a specific period, typically monthly. That is, not how many times a ticket's status was updated to be "on-hold", but just how many tickets at any point in the time period were "on-hold". Is there a way to do this in Explore?

Yes, you can do that in Explore.

Use the Support Backlog History dataset.

  • Filter: Status On Hold
  • Rows: Backlog Recorded Date
  • Metrics: SUM(Tickets)

That will show the on hold tickets at the end of each day,

Change the Row attribute to an alternative each day does not suit and filer to a date range that you are interested in.
