Reporting Delays and Missing fields

I am curious as to why it seems to take 24 hours for records to appear in reports after they are input. 

 

Additionally, when they do appear, some fields on some records are inexplicably missing. 

 

Any info wouild be very helpful. Thank you.

Hi Mark, 

 

This will depend on what Zendesk plan you are on re: how often your data syncs to Zendesk Analytics. If you are on the Growth on Team plan they do have a refresh rate of 24 hours. Pro/Enterprise is 1hour. 

 

Secondly, a field will only sync to reporting once it's been used. So if you've created a new field on a form and the field hasn't been used yet, it won't appear in explore until its been used (Filled in on a ticket) and then synced over.

Well, find out which plan we have no but I am going to assume it is the Growth plan since that has been the MO. 

However, the field I am talking about that was missing has been used since day 1 and had data in it but it didn't transfer over to Zendesk. Could it have been something where the record was done more than 24 hours ago but the field wasn't updated until mor recently?

Highly likely that could be the case. If it's still not appearing, it would be worth raising a ticket with ZD Support from here so they can look further into this one for you in your account. :)
