How do you change the default date in date (time) filter, so that daily reports show "yesterday's" stats?

I have added a date filter, however, the daily reports that are being emailed to the team are for stats for the last 30 days.  I would like it to display yesterday's stats, however I don't see an option to edit the date filter.  In edit mode, when I click on the date filter, I only see 2 check boxes (Allow custom ranges and Allow rolling ranges).  There is also the list of the Link Filters, but no option to edit the default date.

Hi Nadia,

To have your daily emailed reports automatically show "yesterday's" stats, the best approach is to use filtered views with rolling date ranges.

Here’s how you can set this up:

  1. Enable Allow rolling ranges in the date filter settings of your report or view.
  2. Configure the filter to use a rolling date range to "Previous day", so the data dynamically updates each time the report runs.
  3. Use this filtered view as the basis for your scheduled email report, ensuring it always reflects the previous day’s data without needing manual changes.
For more detailed guidance on creating and bookmarking filtered views, you can check out this article:

I hope this helps!
