Is there a way to export a list of reports from Explore? Our reports have gotten away from us and we are trying to clean them up and create a dictionary type list of reports and their use.

Hi - what I'm looking for is how to export a list of reports, not exporting one or more reports. Essentially want to get a list in Excel or some other type of table of all the reports listed in Explore.

I'm afraid that exporting a list of reports from Zendesk Explore isn't a built-in feature. However, you can manually create a list of your reports in Explore however it would not be possible to export that list.

Agreed that this would be a useful feature to better maintain and audit reports.

Upvoting this one too! We have hundred of reports and we should be able to export the list to support review and clean up. The export should also include the columns added to the view…or give us a prompt to select what fields we want added, like report name, created date, created by etc. 

 

This option to export should also be available for dashboards. 

Also to add here, for dashboards we should also have the option to add ‘Shared with’ as a column to the grid view and be able to see who has access.

Like the original poster, we currently have over 7,000 reports in our system. To help us begin the process of identifying and removing unused reports, I’m looking to export a list that includes report creators, last accessed dates, and any associated dashboards.
 

With over 900 agents in our organization, it’s not practical to reach out to every agent to review their reports. Having this export would allow my team to focus our efforts on the users who have created the most reports and prioritize cleanup accordingly.

With the coming 37 month time limit on reporting data an export function would have helped greatly so we could do targeted communications to those with a significant footprint in our system.  This also feels like something that would just be a useful tool for us admins looking to provide details on how much Zendesk is used and who is using what functions.
